SEOUL Stivali Ugg Classic Bassi 5825 Chestnut , Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- South Korea on Tuesday said it will approve athletes from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ( DPRK) to join in the upcoming Asian Games to be held in South Korea's west port city of Incheon.


Seoul will allow Pyongyang to compete in the games if DPRK informs the organizing committee of the Asian Games of its decision to send athletes to Incheon, Yonhap News Agency quoted an official of the unification ministry as saying on Tuesday.


DPRK plans to send its men's and women's football teams to attend the 2014 Incheon Asian Games from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4, the official KCNA news reported on Monday.


But Pyongyang has not officially informed the committee of its final decision. It has to send application to the committee and report the size of its delegation before June 20.


South Korea has invited the DPRK to participate in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games via the Olympic Council of Asia last year.


It is reported that Incheon city and the organizing committee welcomed Pyongyang's decision to compete at some level.


The DPRK has participated in the last three Asian Games in Busan in 2002 Stivali Ugg Classic Bassi 5825 Grigi , Doha in 2006 and Guangzhou in 2010.

SEOUL， Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Rates for bank loans to households in South Korea rose to the highest in 22 months on expectations for the U.S. Federal Reserve's rate hikes this year， central bank data showed on Thursday.


Rates for household loans extended by deposit-taking banks were an annualized rate of 3.29 percent in December， up 0.09 percentage points from the previous month， according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).


It was the highest since February 2015， keeping an upward trend for four months in a row.


After raising the benchmark rate by a quarter percentage point last month， the Fed indicated three rate increases this year. It caused South Korean market rates to turn upward， raising debt-serving burden for households.
